Skillweb offer a variety of service provision options. In addition to an outright licence and services purchase, Skillweb offer an affordable Managed Service option. For a low monthly fee, this scaleable, robust offering includes the provision of all application licences, handheld terminal supply and hardware and software maintenance. Skillweb will also manage and support the whole service whether you need 24 x 7 x 365 or Business Day coverage.
The Managed Service package can be as flexible as you require. The following components can be provide to meet business requirements:
- Either buy the hardware and issue it foc to Skillweb, or take a leased option.
- Buy your licences upfront for the duration of the contract or take them as a part of the service. The licence includes upgrades and patches.
The service includes the use of Skillweb's resilient back room servers, which will capture the data sent from the handheld terminals via GPRS, format it and send it on to your internal systems. At this stage we can offer an automatic email service sending ePODs to your customers.
Skillweb will manage deployment, software upgrades using its remote application deployment tool and in the event of hardware failure, replacement, repair and restoration into service.
